Live Like That, by the Sidewalk Prophets, is a song that has especially touched my heart, and met me right where I am right now. It pushes me to analyze myself and what I have been doing to show love to the least of these. Has my worship been more than just a song? I want to live in such a way as to treat others the way I would treat Jesus. Am I proof that grace can really change a heart? Do I live like the love of Jesus is the real thing? Is there evidence that I have been changed?
"The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'"

Where I Belong, by Building 429 is a newer favorite. I almost can't hear it without crying. When the world is doing everything it can to discourage me, I know that this is not it. Someday I will go to my Jesus or my Jesus will come to me, whichever comes first. But I am assured that this world, and all of the things in it are not my permanent home. Rather, I have an eternal home with a God who desires to be with me.
"Don't be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father's home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am."
~John 14:1-4~

Lean on Me has been my #1 favorite song since I could even claim I had a favorite song. It so fits the journey that I have been on as a Follower of Christ, and even before I came to know Him. We were not meant to go through this life alone.
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.”
~Genesis 2:18~
